A lucky Lichfield resident is in the money starting from yesterday after scooping £105,585 on the Lotto.
Lottery operator Camelot had launched a search to find the winner after they were late coming forward and today revealed they had claimed their cash prize.
But fellow Lotto players will not get to find out who the lucky person is, because they have opted for no publicity.
The winning ticket was bought at an outlet in the city for the Wednesday night draw on June 30, and the winning numbers were 11, 12, 15, 29, 37, 43 and the bonus ball was 45.
Because no one had come forward within a month Camelot launched a search to find the winner. If it went unclaimed by December 27, the money would have been pumped into the Good Causes fund.
