Winners have 180 days to come forward to claim their prize

No-one has yet claimed the windfall for which the winning ticket was bought in Belfast a month ago.

The winner matched six main numbers in the Lotto Extra draw held on 7 August 2004 to win £7,039,469.

National Lottery operator Camelot said the deadline for the ticket-holder to collect their winnings was 3 February 2005.

The winning numbers are 3, 5, 8, 18, 28 and 48.

If no-one comes forward by then the prize money, plus the interest it has generated, will all go to Good Causes - adding to the £16 bn already raised through sales of lottery tickets over the last 10 years.

In June, a Belfast woman who has been undergoing treatment for cancer became the single biggest winner of the lottery since it began 10 years ago.

Iris Jeffrey, 58, bought the ticket on 14 July but only realised she had hit the jackpot in August after hearing an appeal by lottery organisers Camelot.

She scooped the biggest single National Lottery jackpot of £20.1m.

Former Belfast bus driver Peter Lavery won more than £10m in 1996.

Toronto couple claims $26.8M jackpot

Larry Campbell, 63, of Pullman, has claimed his winnings. He took a one-time, lump-sum payment of $19,128,233, rather than have the $47 million paid out over 20 years, Michigan Lottery officials said. Campbell claimed his prize on Friday. Lottery officials said Campbell and his wife plan to buy a new house with their winnings and "do some serious relaxing." Campbell is retired from the Dr. Pepper-7-up Bottling Division in Holland.

The group bought one of the two Super-7 lottery tickets that won the wopping $25 million prize, leaving each couple with more than $3.5 million.

Al's Total Services, 2625 109th Ave., sold the lucky ticket, and it probably surprised the winner as much as store owner Al Baugus. "It's outrageous," Baugus said of the amount of the prize. "Something that big in this small of a town."

Lottery spokesman Bobby Heith said the ticket-holder passed the initial verification inquiry and was advised to seek legal and financial advice and call back when ready to claim the prize.

The Brooksville ticket was the only one with all six winning numbers from Saturday night's drawing. The jackpot drops back to an estimated $3 million for the drawing this Wednesday night.

But the winner of Saturday's drawing had not been identified as of Sunday afternoon.

One winning ticket sold in Pennsylvania matched all five white balls, 3-9-17-37-43, and the red Powerball(R), 39, in Saturday night's drawing. The $213.2 million Powerball(R) jackpot is the largest jackpot prize in Pennsylvania Lottery history.

The ticket for the double rollover Lotto draw on Wednesday 14 April was bought in the county - the winning numbers were: 1, 3, 22, 32, 38 and 44.

Lottery outlets are bracing for long lineups of Winnipeggers looking to secure their chance at a $30-million Super 7 jackpot today.

Wheaton residents Miguel and Maria Bonilla, who won the April 9 drawing, have elected to receive the winnings as a lump sum of $62,163,496.64. After state and federal taxes, the Bonillas will get nearly $42 million.

Twirling a toothpick in his mouth and holding his wife's hand, Triplett said the prize was "no big thing to me" and gave assurances he would spend it wisely. His wife, Peggy, said she would "shop till I drop."

At first, the teenager thought she may have won only £10 on a Lucky Dip ticket, but as she went through the winning line at the back of the shop, her good fortune became apparent.
