MIDDLETOWN, Pa.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Nov. 24, 2003–The Powerball(R) jackpot rolls to an estimated $40 million for the Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003, drawing. The cash option continues to grow as well; a single winner of this Wednesday’s drawing could take home an estimated $21.3 million cash prize.

No ticket won the top prize in the Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003, drawing by matching all five white balls, 09-12-17-29-45, plus the red Powerball(R), 04. The PowerPlay(R) number selected in Saturday night’s drawing was 2. One match-five ticket purchased in Pennsylvania with the PowerPlay(R) option won a $200,000 second-tier prize.

In Pennsylvania, there were 43,726 winning plays sold for the Nov. 22 Powerball(R) drawing, including 10,771 purchased with the PowerPlay(R) option. Each winning PowerPlay(R) ticket for Saturday’s drawing receives three times the standard cash prize for its respective category. In Pennsylvania, Powerball(R) players who “powered up” with PowerPlay(R) for the Nov. 22, 2003, drawing will receive total additional winnings of $162,937.
